Piano care and advice in West London and Pembrokeshire
A piano to last a lifetime!
A piano can be very expensive to buy which is why piano care should be taken seriously. Looked after correctly, your piano should last you a lifetime.
Just like your granny, pianos like all things in moderation. Excessive swings in heat, cold and damp will affect the way your piano performs by altering its tuning and pitch. Whilst pianos are the best of all stringed instruments for retaining their tuning, they do need to be tuned once or twice a year.

And your piano care doesn't stop at tuning and pitch!
The highly polished casework should only need to be dusted, as furniture polish will build up leaving a dull film of wax behind. Stubborn surface marks can usually be removed with a damp cloth and the keys will only need an occasional clean with a very lightly damp cloth to remove sticky finger marks.
